Shinnimin assigned to Portland

The Coyotes announced Saturday that they have assigned forward Brendan Shinnimin to the Pirates.
The Pirates have been shut out in the last two games and travel to Hershey Saturday for a game against the high-flying Bears.
Shinnimin has one assists in 11 games with the Coyotes this season. He was second in Pirates’ scoring with nine goals, 16 assists for 25 points in 40 games.
Shinnimin will be available for the Pirates tonight in Hershey as they wrap up a seven-game road trip.
