Help local bantam team to Nationals
- Updated: March 11, 2015
The Portland Jr. Pirates Bantam Tier 2 team won the MEAHA state championship over the weekend and has earned a spot in the USA Hockey Youth Tier II 14U National Championships which are being held in Salt Lake City, Utah. The cost for getting out to Salt Lake City falls on the team and it’s very expensive to shuttle 20 kids across the country and provide lodging, food and transportation. The team only has about two weeks to raise the money needed to participate in the tournament.
Maine is a close knit hockey community as I’ve seen it firsthand so if you can help in any way possible by clicking on this link to the gofundme account and donating that would be very appreciated by this group of 14 year olds. Please make sure to share this post with family and friends.
